Sta*Ware BusinessNavigator now with integrated AI adapter

New version SW3.04 enables direct chat with various AI systems

Starnberg, October 25, 2025.

Sta*Ware EDV Beratung GmbH is launching a new AI innovation with the latest release SW3.04 of its office and project management software StaWare BusinessNavigator E&P:
For the first time, users can submit inquiries directly from within the software to various AI systems – via an integrated chat dialog that interacts seamlessly with project data, documents and emails from the BusinessNavigator.

“With the new AI adapter, we are building a bridge between existing company knowledge and modern AI technologies,” explains Christian Paucksch, Managing Director of Sta*Ware EDV Beratung GmbH.
“Users can now interact with AI without switching systems, have content analyzed or generate new texts and evaluations – directly within the ongoing project.”

Transfer documents and emails directly to the AI

For the initial inquiry, documents, emails or notes from the current project can be selected and transferred to the AI system. Additional content can be added during the ongoing chat. The AI-generated responses can immediately be stored and further processed as a note, document or email in the Sta*Ware BusinessNavigator.

The adapter is currently available for:

  • ChatGPT
  • OpenAI
  • Azure OpenAI
  • Ollama
  • Semantic Kernel

The list of supported AI systems is continuously being expanded.

AI support in DMS, ECM and E-Collaboration

With the new release, the modules DMS, ECM and E-Collaboration are enhanced with the AI adapter. This allows even complex documents, reports or project evaluations to be created with just a few clicks. The integrated project structure and document repository ensure that users can quickly access all relevant information – enabling more precise and efficient AI queries.

AI-supported staff scheduling reduces costs

In a further development step, Sta*Ware is expanding the BusinessNavigator with AI-based functions for project and staff scheduling. These functions analyze ongoing projects and take into account changes, additions or shifts to ensure an optimal allocation of resources at all times.
