Successful event “Administrator-Stammtisch”

The first customer event for constructive exchange between administrators and Sta*Ware took place on 19.09.2017 in the Bayerischer Yacht-Club e.V. at the company headquarters in Starnberg.

After welcoming and introducing the participants and new Sta*Ware employees, Christian Paucksch gave a very entertaining insight into the presentation of new features of SW 2.7b with the Personal Business Manager, System Tray, Ribbon, Layout / Design, Appointment Calendar, MSI Installation, OCR Text Recognition, Checklists, Document Check IN and Check OUT.

There was a lot of customer exchange about tips and tricks for the SW 2.7b version, with the layout distribution like spell check, configuration via groups, SW Admin, and the S*W versions. Aha-effects followed for Sta*Ware APP and the Sta*Ware Portal. Questions about support and daily business were also clarified in the dialog.

The features of SW 2.8 were eagerly awaited, especially with the mail encryption according to S/Mime, such as masks for processing, process status, parts lists, products, materials management, articles and stock, chat like Whats App and multi-client capability.

 

This was followed by an outlook on the release planning with the dates for sw27b as of 1.10.2017, sw27b Patch 1 as of 1.1.2018, sw27b Patch 2 as of 1.4.2018 and sw28 Release Candidate in the 2nd quarter 2018 and sw28 in the 3rd quarter 2018.

With the latest news from Tina M. Schäfer’s marketing department, a hearty Bavarian snack for refreshment before the Oktoberfest rounded off this informative event.
